I worked at a restaurant for over 3 years, and in March 2020, COVID forced all the restaurants to shut down. I've been unemployed since then.
I've invested in a lot of different things to keep myself occupied, but I pretty quickly felt lost among the refuge of finally getting some much needed time off work. At one point, I actually wrote down this limiting belief I had that I was a slave to capitalism and the class system, and I burned it. It was directly afterwards that I decided to finally start working for myself.
Once I realized that I don't really need a normal job, I also realized I don't need a normal car. So I started looking to trade my Kia for something I could turn into a camper. Lo and behold, the universe answered my call, and here we are making it into our tiny home to travel the country.
After more than 6 months of renovating with a steep learning curve and biding our time through the Pennsylvania winter, there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Stay tuned for more updates as we finish up the interior and move onto planning our first trip!
